Better heating
Check Done? Fireplace on!
Checkpoint 1: Which fireplace or stove do you have?
Do you have a good appliance? Or is the device of your choice the right choice? A good appliance is one of the four pillars for better heating. The old-fashioned fireplace (open fireplace) is outdated, older stoves and fireplace inserts may also need to be replaced due to poor combustion and high particulate matter emissions. Modern combustion techniques have greatly improved compared to those of old boilers. Low emissions and high efficiencies go hand in hand with low fuel consumption.
Europe therefore makes the Ecodesign Directive mandatory for appliances. Although the EU is targeting January 1, 2022, the Dutch market, together with the government, believes that an acceleration is desirable.
Beerten Haardendesign only sells fireplaces and stoves that fall within the mandatory standard, so you are always assured of an environmentally conscious fireplace or stove with us.
